A historic photo view of Christ Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This church building was constructed between 1727 and 1744 with the steeple added in 1754. Numerous historical personalities are identified with this church including William Penn, George Washington, Robert Morris, Benjamin Franklin, and Betsy Ross. Among the congregation were fifteen signers of the Declaration of Independence. Buried in the cemetery at the church and also at the associated but separately located Christ Church Burial Ground are Benjamin Franklin, Revolutionary War Major General Charles Lee, and numerous signers of the Declaration of Independence.

The church building still stands, is still used as a church and is open to visitors. The church is located in the Old City neighborhood between Market and Arch Streets at 22-26 N. 2nd Street, Philadelpha, PA.
