Linn Creek, Missouri No. 11 Boat Landing Vintage Postcard
A vintage postcard view of No. 11 Boat Landing on the Osage River at Linn Creek, Missouri. At the time this card was published (1911), Linn Creek was the county seat of Camden County. In 1929, the construction of Bagnell Dam (which created the Lake of the Ozarks) on the Osage River flooded this entire region forcing the removal of the county seat to the newly created city of Camdenton. This postcard is postmarked 1911.
