P. T. BERG, chief draftsman for the Edgar Thomson Steel-works, Braddock, is a native of Sweden, born in 1853. He graduated at the Polytechnical School and School of Mines at Stockholm, Sweden, in 1878, and in 1879 emigrated to America. He entered the employ of the Edgar Thomson Steel works the same year as a laborer, was given a position in the drafting-office of the works the following year, and was promoted to that of chief draftsman in 1886. Mr. Berg is a F. & A. M., and is a republican.
