THOMAS REEVE, farmer, P. O. Fayetteville, son of William and Ann Reeve, was born in Leicestershire England in 1813. In 1828, his parents came to this country and settled in Franklin County, Penn., where his mother died in 1829. In 1841, they came to this township, where his father died about 1846. Mr. Reeve was married in Pennsylvania in 1835, to Elizabeth Bittiner, of German ancestry. They had eight children, five still living — Emanuel, Mary, Thomas, William and John; all married. John still remains at home; he was married to Eliza, adopted daughter of James Rollins. They have one daughter — Estella May. About 1854, Mr. Reeve bought fifty-eight acres of land where he now lives, two miles east of Fayetteville; he now has sixty acres. Himself and family are members of the M. E. Church.
