Dr. Felix Grundy Seay was born April 12, 1848, on the place where he now resides, in Hickman County, Ky. In youth he was favored with fair opportunities, and procured a good education, which he has constantly improved by application and continued reading. January 8, 1883, he married Miss Pattie R., daughter of Scarlet B. and Sarah (Yantis) May, of Hickman County, Ky. She was born April 17, 1862. In 1870 subject commenced the study of medicine with his brother, Dr. Charles T. Seay, and in 1872 attended the university of Louisville, from which he graduated in 1874. Since his return to his native home he has established and now enjoys a lucrative and extensive practice. He is also engaged in farming, and owns 244 acres of good land. He is a member of the I. O. O. F., and is a Methodist and a Democrat.
