THOMAS, CHRIST (deceased); born in Nassau, Germany, in 1832; came to the United States in 1852, and married Lucy Barnes in 1856. She was born in Hanover, Germany. He died in January, 1869, leaving four children: Charlie, Edward, William, and Louisa. He left his widow comfortably provided for. He was a real-estate and insurance agent (life), and was a member of the I. O. O. F. She owns her residence, 410 Kentucky street, and a vineyard of five acres, worth $5,000.
