A vintage postcard of the Carrie Tingley Hospital, Hot Springs, New Mexico. The city of Hot Springs changed its name to Truth or Consequences in 1950. In the background are the Caballo Mountains. The text from the back of the card reads: "A state institution devoted entirely to crippled children. The finest and most completely furnished hospital of its kind. The natural hot mineral water is used entirely in the hospital pools for the treatment of infantile paralysis and hydro-therapy cases."

Truth or Consequences (Hot Springs) is the county seat of Sierra County, New Mexico.
