A vintage postcard view of Main Street, Marceline, Missouri. Numerous businesses line both sides of the dirt street. This postcard view is from about 1910-1915. Another view of this same street in the 1940's is shown below.
Marceline was the hometown of Walt Disney and this street is said to be the inspiration for Main Street U. S. A. at Disneyland.
The same street as the previous postcard view, Kansas Avenue, Looking South from Ritchie Street, Marceline, Missouri. Several of the same buildings seen in the previous early photo can also be seen in this photo. This view is from the 1940's.
