The grave and tombstone of Louisa May Alcott in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, Massachusetts. Alcott is most well known as the author of Little Women, Little Man, Jo's Boys and numerous other popular titles of the time. The grave of Louisa May Alcott is included within the Alcott family plot which also includes the graves of her parents, Amos and Abigail and her three sisters: Anna, Elizabeth and May. This tombstone is simply marked L. M. A. 1832 - 1888. Louisa died just two days after her father had died. Visitors often leave pebbles, coins and writing utensils at the grave site of this famed author.
Louisa May Alcott, born November 29, 1832 at Germantown, Pennsylvania; died March 6, 1888 at Boston, Massachusetts, age 55.
