JACOB C. MILLER, dairyman, post office Hope Church, was born April 8, 1841, in Allegheny county, Pa. His parents, Jacob and Catharine (Bender) Miller, natives of Wurtemberg, Germany, resided a short time in Maryland, and then came to this county, where they died. Seven children bless this union, viz.: Mrs. Emma Wilds, Jacob, Elizabeth, Ida, Harry, John and Christine.
