ADDISON H. SIMMONS, post office Banksville. This family are originally from Eastern New York state. Samuel married Elizabeth Matthews, and by her had three children, one son and two daughters. William, the second child, and a carpenter, was married in 1837, to Margaret, daughter of James Henry, one of the oldest families in this part of the county. They had seven children, Addison H. being the second son. He was married, in 1870, to Hannah G. Snodgrass, and they have had three children (two living): Walter Glenn, Lizzie Alma and Emma Edna. The family are members of the Presbyterian Church; Mr. Simmons is a republican.
