REUBEN MARTIN, farmer, P. O. Aberdeen, was born in this township in 1849, and is a son of Edmund and Mary Martin, of whom mention is made in this work. Our subject was reared on the farm, and, on February 24, 1881, married Miss Maria A., daughter of John L. Brown, of Indiana, by whom he has had one child, viz., John L. B. Mr. Martin is one of Brown County’s young and progressive farmers; he owns 135 acres of excellent land, which is one of the best improved farms in the township.
