CHARLES L. CRAWFORD, younger member of this firm [CRAWFORD & MILLER], was born in January, 1853, in Green Township, Brown County; he is a son of Jackson and Elizabeth A. Crawford; his youthful days were spent on a farm, and he received a fair English education. In December, 1878, he was united in marriage to Miss Mollie A. Boggess. This union has been blessed with two children, viz., Claude and Ada L. In May, 1879, he formed a partnership with Mr. Frank Miller, in the mercantile business, under the now well-known firm title of Crawford & Miller. They deal in dry goods, groceries, fancy articles, etc., and are recognized among the leading merchants of the county, having a large and commodious store room, and carrying a large and fine stock of goods. They are meeting with marked financial success, their trade being continually on the increase. We take pleasure in representing the interests of this firm in this work.
