W. G. Wills, of the firm of Wills & Amos, abstractors, loan, real estate and insurance agents, at Neosho, was born in Neosho, Newton Co., Mo., December 17, 1859, and is the son of Dr. Lewis Wills, a prominent physician, a sketch of whom appears in that of Dr. Robert L. Wills. W. G. Wills was reared and educated in his native county, and in early life commenced writing in the circuit clerk and recorder’s office, remaining thus employed for a period over eight years. While holding this position he purchased an interest in the business of John M. Sherwood, to which he has given his attention. In 1886 Mr. Amos became a partner, and the firm are doing a large business, representing some of the most reliable insurance companies doing business in Missouri. Their abstracts are complete and reliable, and embrace all lands and city property in the county. Mr. Wills has good business qualifications, and is an excellent young man.
