Albert N. Hahn was born in this county in December, 1849. He is the son of Adam Hahn, who was born near the Rhine in Germany. The father came directly to this county, where he has lived over half a century as a farmer. His wife, Amanda S. (Tryon), is a native of Pennsylvania. Our subject was educated at a commercial school, and lived with his parents until twenty-seven years of age. He was then engaged on a farm five miles east of Williamstown, for about five years. Since that time he has lived on his present estate, which is situated near Benjamin. It is a well-improved farm of 120 acres. He holds to the principles of the Republican party, and is a member of the Christian Church. His sister, Eliza S., cares for his bachelor home.
