Below is a family biography included in The History of Jasper County, Missouri published by Mills & Company in 1883.  These biographies are valuable for genealogy research in discovering missing ancestors or filling in the details of a family tree. E. E. SPRACKLEN, photographer, is a native of the Island of Guernsey, and was born Dec. 7, 1853. When six years of age his parents removed to London, Canada, where he was raised and educated. He learned his profession in that city, and in 1868 came to the United States and to Chicago, where he remained two years, and in 1870 he came to Kansas City, but remained there only a short time when he went to Texas and other Western states taking stereoscopic views, etc. In the fall of 1881 he located in Webb City, and has since built up a flourishing business in connection with his partner Mr. Hann.
