Battey Publishing Company in 1885.  These biographies are valuable for genealogy research in discovering missing ancestors or filling in the details of a family tree. Henry D. Salmon was born October 6, 1844, in Montgomery County, Tenn. He was married September 20, 1866, to Mary A., daughter of John K. and Nancy (Bell) Morris of Hickman County, Ky. She died in 1871, at the age of twenty-four years. From this union sprang one child, Susan V. Subject was next married May 16, 1872, to Miss Martha K., daughter of W. C. and Mary E. (Dickins) Blair of Hickman County, born April 30, 1854, and to them have been born Lura B., Harriet C. and William L. Henry D. is a farmer owning 240 acres of very fertile land in successful cultivation. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity, a Christian and a Democrat.
