DAVID G. PARK was born January 31, 1855, in Graves County. He is a son of Noah and Margaret (McCain) Park. The father was born in North Carolina; the mother in Tennessee. David was reared on his father’s farm, and after attending a literary school took up the study of law under the preceptorship of W. W. Tice. In 1876 he went to Louisville University and graduated in the class of 1877; he then returned to Mayfield, and has since been engaged in the practice of his profession. Mr. Park was married May 23, 1878, to Miss Nellie Hanson of Mayfield; this union has been blessed with two children, Ruth and Margaret. Mr. Park is a member of the I. O. O. F., K. of H. and of the Baptist Church. Mrs. Park is a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
