These biographies are valuable for genealogy research in discovering missing ancestors or filling in the details of a family tree. W. W. TARVIN was born in Covington, Kenton Co., Ky., in 1864, and is a son of R. J. and Emma (Wiley) Tarvin, the former a gas builder, of Cincinnati. Samuel Tarvin, paternal grandfather of our subject, was a commission merchant in Cincinnati. He married a Miss Johnson. W. W. Tarvin was educated at the public schools of Covington, and graduated at the Ohio Medical College in 1886, when he began practice in Covington. In 1885 he married Lulu Marsh, daughter of Euclid Marsh, a tobacco dealer of Covington. One child, Rebecca, has blessed this union. Politically Mr. Tarvin is a Democrat.
