E. ST. G. NOBLE, was born and reared in County Meath, Ireland, and graduated in the Museum of Irish Instruction, Dublin, as an analytical chemist. In 1860, he came to America and located in Newton County, Mo., where he began preparations for the development of the mineral wealth of that region, which was prevented by the late war. He afterward engaged in merchandising, with which he was connected until 1876, since which time he has been actively connected with mining operations here.
