CHURCHMAN, MRS. HELENA, farmer, Sec. 17; P. O. Bevington; widow of Michael Churchman, who was born in Germany in the year 1808, and came in 1830 to Ohio; before he came to Ohio he lived in New York about one year; he came to this county in the spring of 1854, and died in April, 1877. Mrs. Churchman, whose maiden name was Helen Wonderlen, was born in Switzerland in 1818, and married to her husband in 1839; have a family of nine children: Mary, Elizabeth, Isabel, Helena, Susan, Henry, John, Joseph, and Michael; she owns a farm of about 900 acres.
