STARKWEATHER, GEO. A., far., Sec. 16; P. O. Vincennes; owns 160 acres; born in Calhoun Co., Mich., in 1843; his parents, Leonard and Emily Starkweather, removed from Pennsylvania to Michigan about 1834, and came to Lee Co. in 1846; they first located on the farm now owned by Mr. Garverich, and came to the farm now owned by George A. in 1859; George purchased the farm of his father in 1876. He married in 1864 Emily Thompson, a native of Illinois; they have four children — Ida May, George A., John and Harriet.
