SEIDLITZ, G. NEUMAN, physician and surgeon; born in Germany; he received a thorough medical education in several of the leading universities of Europe, at Berlin, Heidelberg, etc.; in 1847, he came to the United States and located in Mississippi, where he remained until 1864, when he came to Keokuk, arriving here in October of that year; the Doctor is President of the Board of Health, now serving the fourth year in that capacity; he is a member of the American Institute of Homeopathy, also of the State Society; he has been President of the latter Society; he is also one of the lecturers of the Iowa State Institute of Homeopathy, and is Chairman of several of the committees connected with the different societies.
