FRANKS, WILLIAM J., farmer and stock raiser; Sec. 5; P. O. Richfield; was born in 1855, and is the second child of Prior and Susan Franks, both of whom are still living. He married Elizabeth Hull, in 1876. She was born in 1856. They have one child, Mollie, born March 5, 1878. He owns 170 acres of land, under a good state of cultivation; worth $30 per acre. Mr. F. is an ardent Republican of the hard-money school, and is at present a School Director in his township.
