DAY, DR. RALPH., residence, 146 South 3d street. He was born in Portland, Me., in 1826, and located in Quincy in 1870; married Hattie A. Coats in 1850. She was born in Syracuse, N. Y. They have two children living, Dell and Ralph H; are members of the Congregational Church. Mr. Day was engaged in paper manufacturing until 1855, when he retired and studied dentistry, which he practiced for several years. He has been traveling in his present business — agricultural implements — since 1868.
