HAGLER, M. M., manager of the American Sewing Machine Co., 725 Maine street; born in Warren county, Ill., in 1848, and became connected with the sewing machine business in 1875, as book-keeper at Omaha, Neb.; has been manager at Quincy since Sept. 1878. He married Dora McNeal in June, 1876. She was born in Hancock county, Ill., in 1858. They have one child, Blanche. He is a member of the Masonic Order. The reputation of the American Sewing Machine has been well and favorably established as the simplest and most easily managed machine in the market. Mr. Hagler, the manager, is a reliable gentleman, who will treat all well.
