BRADBURY, JONATHAN D., farmer; Sec. 19; P. O. Quincy; was born in Franklin county, Maine, Jan. 9, 1816, and came to this county May 1, 1838; was married twice; his first wife was Miss Sarah H. Merrick. She was born in Somerset county, Maine. They had two children. She died Aug. 27, 1849. His second, and present wife, was Mrs. Ann Huntington. She was born in Oxford county, Maine. They have one child. He has held numerous local offices in the township, and is now Township Assessor. He is one of the early and enterprising citizens who have made the county in its present prosperous condition. He owns about 500 acres of land, most of which is in a highly cultivated and well-improved condition. Republican in politics, and a member of the Free Baptist Church.
