The immense fans which furnish the power have a capacity of fifty horse power, with a good strong breeze. Mr. E. was married Nov. 5, 1873, to Mary Gembler, born in Texas, Dec. 14, 1854. Two children: Margret and John Jacob. He and wife are connected with the Lutheran church. He owns the Prairie mills, and forty acres of improved land in Clayton township.
