HILDEBRAND, FREDERICK, farmer; Sec. 29; P. O. Clayton. He was born in Germany, July 25, 1825; married Emily Terke in 1852. She was born in the same place in 1825. They came to the United States, June 25, 1852, and to Adams county in 1863. Have two adopted children — never had any of their own. He has 160 acres of land, ninety under good cultivation. Is a member of the Lutheran church. Their adopted childrens’ names are Louis and Caroline.
