KIRKPATRICK, FRANCIS A., merchant, Lima; was born in Ursa township, Dec. 8, 1844: was married to Miss Cynthia McCreery in September, 1875. She was born in Hancock county, Ill. They have two children, James A. and Emma F. He is senior of the firm of Kirkpatrick & McCreery, dealers in dry goods, groceries, boots and shoes, etc., at Lima, and has, by close attention to business and fair dealing, built himself up an enviable reputation and lucrative business. He owns some valuable business and residence property, centrally located and very valuable, in Lima. He is Republican in politics, and a member of the Christian church, and one of the energetic and industrious citizens of the county.
