HELLHAKE, ANTON, boot and shoe maker, 8th between Washington and Jefferson streets; residence Monroe between 12th and 13th. He was born in Allendorf Kritzund Regeirungs-bezirk, Ahnsberg, Feb. 2, 1846, and emigrated to America, arriving in New York April 20, 1855, going direct to Quincy. He married Miss Augusta Uhrbannosky in Quincy, Oct. 5, 1873. She was born in the province of Posen, Europe, in 1848, and emigrated to America in 1872, going direct to Quincy. Two children: Elizabeth, born Nov. 5, 1874, and Maria, born Nov. 25, 1876. Real and personal property estimated at $1,000. Religion, Roman Catholic. Politics, Democrat.
