Stuart E. Galbraith, M. D., one of the leading physicians and surgeons of the city of Pontiac, is a son of the late Dr. Franklin B. Galbraith and largely a successor to the extensive practice built up by the latter, whose death occurred February 21, 1903.

Stuart E. Galbraith was born in Pontiac, Michigan, in 1873 and was educated in the schools of his native city, going from the Pontiac High School to the Michigan Military Academy at Orchard Lake, Oakland County. Graduating in the literary course at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1896, he then took up the study of medicine there, and received his degree in 1899. He then engaged in general practice at Pontiac, being associated with his father for the last three years of the latter’s life. He is now practicing in partnership with Dr. William McCarroll.

Dr. Galbraith is a member of the Oakland County Medical Society, of which his father was president at the time of his death, and is also a member, of the Pontiac Medical Society, the State Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He resides with his mother in their beautiful home No. 17 Huron street, East.
